Dave Archer’s outer space paintings graced the walls of The Enterprise on Star Trek: The Next Generation as one of the three official artists for the shows set.

What is even more amazing about his incredibly realistic outer space paintings is how they are produced – They are painted reverse on glass using a million volts of electricity via his Tesla Coil! He has been featured on countless television shows and in print for decades for his amazing technique.

In addition to painting with a million volts, Dave Archer is a talented sculptor, illustrator and writer, authoring the book ‘Survival Art’. He is also a musician, who spent a great deal of time with his late friend Janis Joplin while the two were living in San Francisco in the 1960s on the fringes of the Beat movement.

Dave Archer lives inside a museum of his own creation, and plays a mean organ grinder!
